Popular heroine becomes BJP's Youth Wing Executive

Dance choreographer and film actress Gayathri Raghuram, with her keen inclination towards politics, was inducted as a party member of the BJP in 2014.

Gayathri was intending to contest the upcoming RK Nagar by-elections for BJP, but Gangai Amaran was chosen as the candidate. The BJP has now announced the actress as the party's National Youth Wing Executive Member.

Gayathri Raghuram is currently directing her debut Tamil film 'Yaadhumaagi Nindrai'.Actor Dhanush has also recently recorded a song for the film.
