'Darbar': Anirudh ropes in three transgender singers

Superstar Rajnikanth has completed shooting and dubbing for 'Darbar', which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions.
With the audio launch (Tamil version) of the movie set to take place on December 7 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, here's an interesting update on a special song from the much-awaited movie.
Music director Anirudh has signed three trans women Chandramukhi, Rachana and Priya to sing a song in 'Darbar'.
This special song will see dancing by the transgender women in the movie and hence Anirudh wanted to make it sound original. Chandramukhi, Rachana and Priya are part of a music band in Hyderabad named Spice girls.
Darbar is set to release on 9 January 2020.
