Tamil Nadu government issues statement on Darbar release

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' is hitting the screens worldwide tomorrow January 9th with a massive demand for tickets allover.  Die-hard fans who wait months to see their Thalaivar on screen prefer the early morning shows to express their love and adulation to him.  There was a buzz that special shows were denied and there was an air of doubt.

The Tamil Nadu government has issued a statement that special shows have been permitted for 'Darbar' for four days 9th, 10th, 13th and 14th of Jan. The mega film poised to take a gargantuan opening at the box office is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions with music score by Anirudh Ravichander.

'Darbar' has Rajini and Nayanthara as the lead pair supported by Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, Sriman and Sunil Shetty.  Rajini plays a maverick cop and it promises an out and out old school type entertainer.
