Darling 2
`Darling' is the super hit film that released in 2015. The film served as a strong launch for popular music director G.V.Prakash Kumar as an actor. Now, K.E.Gnanavelraja, who had produced the film under his Studio Green banner has come up with `Darling 2' falling under the same horror-comedy genre. The makers have confirmed that this will not be the second part of `Darling' and it just shares the common genre and hence the title as been used as Franchise.
`Darling 2' has been directed by debutant Sathish Chandrasekaran. The story revolves around five friends going out on a outstation trip with one friend haunted by ghost. The film also has a lot of scope for humor.
The film stars Rameez Raja and Maya in lead roles while the supporting cast includes Kalaiyarasan, Kali Venkat, Arjun , Muneesh kanth, Jhonny of 'Madras' fame and many others.
The film has been shot in and around Valparai. The famous Bungalow where MGR-Saroja Devi classic romance flick `Anbe Vaa' was shot, has been used for this film.
Radhan has rendered the musical score for the film. Vijay Karthik Kannan has handled the cinematography. Madan has Edited the film.
`Darling 2' is all set to hit the screens on April 1, 2016.
