'Das Ka Dhamki' hit the screens yesterday (March 22). As per Vishwak Sen, the film minted Rs Rs 8.80 Cr on Day 1 in terms of gross. The actor-director-producer unambiguously stated that the figure is the best in his career.

In Nizam, where the film took to terrific openings (for a Vishwak Sen movie), the commercial action entertainer made a share of Rs 1.42 Cr on Day 1.

At this rate, the film is expected to attain break-even by the end of the first weekend. The Ugadi release is co-written by Sen himself and Prasanna Kumar Bezawada.

The film will have a sequel. Sen, however, is not sure when it is going to happen.

Sen's next theatrical release is 'Gaami'. The film was shot in Ladakh, Varanasi and other locations. The actor also has got movies with Sithara Entertainments and SRT Entertainments, produced respectively by S Naga Vamsi and Ram Talluri.
