David Warner Gifts Young Fan His Man of the Match Award

Following the match between Australia and Pakistan yesterday, man of the match David Warner gifted his young fan his trophy. The boy who seemed to have come with his father, was thrilled to have the award of his star. When asked how it happened he revealed: “Yeah we were just waving the flag and he just came over and gave it to us.” When asked if he was a massive David Warner fan, the boy said: “Yeah I really like him.” The reporter then asked him if he will expect an award for every Aussie match he comes to watch in which the team wins. The father laughed saying: “That would be nice.” Indeed it would!

Warner scored 107 in the match against Pakistan. He has been playing well in the tournament and is a major threat to bowlers. This is not likely to be the last of the awards that the batsman bags.
