Deepika Padukone impresses Asha Parekh

Be it 'Cocktail', 'Ram Leela', 'Chennai Express' or 'Finding Fanny' - every time the actress has garnered appreciations from audience and viewers alike. The tall, talented and gorgeous Deepika Padukone continues to earn praises from her directors, co-stars and industry people at large. The beauty has been working meticulously, trying different kinds of roles and delivering fantastic performances.

Recently, legendary Bollywood actress Asha Parekh was high on praise for Deepika Padukone at an award function. While Asha Parekh received the Lifetime Achievement Award, she spoke about how the industry and films are very different in today's times. When quizzed on whom does she like among the newer crop of actors, she admitted to liking Deepika's body of work.

It is a huge acknowledgment coming from someone who has been part of the industry and given back to back hits in the 60's and 70's.

Deepika will be next seen on screen with 'Piku' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.
