Deepika Padukone is inundated with a lot of requests in the last few days.

As soon as the news broke that Deepika Padukone had taken a fan to a recent award ceremony, thousands of fans have written and reached out to Deepika Padukone.

We were told that she has received umpteenth number of fan mails. In fact her fan mail has almost doubled since the award nights. She has received mails talking about how they wish it were them or that they want to meet her as well. All of them have written to her appreciating the gesture she had shown towards her fans.

It is the first time ever an actor has shared this special moment, of winning an award with their fan. Deepika was keen to attribute her success to her fans that have all through her journey stood by her. Her gesture has been received very well with her fans and has had a sort of rippling effect.
