The Festival of colors is here and we caught the most happening B-town actress to find out their colorful secret.

Holi plans this year

Deepika Padukone: I am shooting for Tamasha and Bajirao so we may play Holi on the sets. This year will be a working Holi for me.

Vidya Balan: I'm hoping to play Holi with friends. Shraddha Kapoor: Mostly with the ABCD2 gang.

Kriti Sanon: This year I will be celebrating Holi with my family

Best childhood Holi memory

Deepika Padukone: Holi has been one of my favorite festivals since childhood. I used to play Holi after coming back from school with my friends in the building.

Vidya Balan: My fondest memory is that of my father filling balloons with water early in the morning .. We'd go up to the terrace and throw balloons on each other..once we were done, the adults would start their Holi of rang, mild bhaang and dancing in the building compound..my watchman would also help us with buckets of water from the tanks.

Shraddha Kapoor: Going to Mr amitabhbachchans house for his Mega Holi bash

Kriti Sanon: I used to celebrate holi every year with my sister Nupur and all our friends in our colony's central park. Once we found a broken bath tub on a terrace and filled it up with color, water and mud and then each person was thrown in turn by turn. We ate pakodas and had thandai and danced on various holi songs!

Favorite Holi Song

Deepika Padukone: I know they are my own songs but i have to admit that Balam Pichkari and Lahu Muh Lag Gaya(RamLeela)are my current fav...

Vidya Balan: Rang Barse....and Shubha Mudgals Ab Ke Saawan'

Shraddha Kapoor: Balam pichkari

Kriti Sanon: Rang Barse, the universal Holi anthem is my favourite.

Favorite Holi food/delicacy

Deepika Padukone: Tangy and Spicy..so chaat maybe...

Vidya Balan: Imarti from Sattu in Sindhi society, Chembur

Shraddha Kapoor: Delicacy would be anything and everything sweet

Kriti Sanon: My favourite delicacy for Holi is gujiya. My mom makes the best gujiyas and I cant wait for Holi to eat the Gujiyas

Special care

Deepika Padukone: It's important to take care of your hair and skin given there is so much exposure to colours and chemicals. I usually massage my hair with coconut based hair oil. It not only protects my hair from the harsh color and chemicals but also provides nourishment. Try and cover your hair with a scarf or bandana so the chances of colour entering your scalp are minimal.

For my skin, I moisturize well and use an SPF before I set out to play Holi. This helps me in removing the colour from my skin more easily and protection from the sun.

Shraddha Kapoor: While Holi is one of my favourite festivals, I make sure to take care of my hair and skin before I step out to play. A ritual I have been following since years is applying adequate oil on my hair given colours are bound to damage my hair. The oil acts as a good layer of protection. I prefer light hair oil. Pre - Holi I make sure to moisturize my skin well. Also I use curd to remove colour from my skin post holi as color comes out easily

Kriti Sanon: I ensure to oil my hair with coconut based hair oil. It takes care of my hair and protects it from the damage of the harsh holi colours. Additionally, I prefer tying up my hair while playing Holi. Open hair tends to tangle and damage ones hair even more. You can don a fashionable side braid or a side ponytail too. I also try and moisturize my skin with coconut oil before stepping out to play Holi. By doing so the colour doesn't seep into my skin and it is easier to take off the color after playing Holi.
