'Degala Babji' Trailer: Emotional, moving, suspenseful

The trailer for Bandla Ganesh-starrer 'Degala Babji' sets the tone for a roller-coaster one-actor thriller, which is also an investigative procedural. Helmed by debutant Venkat Chandra, the movie has everything right going for it.

Multiple characters, single location, and single actor. The trailer sets our expectations in a clear-cut manner. We hear the voice of the investigator, who is a bit aggressive. Ganesh, the titular character, is paranoid and comes with strong emotional baggage.
The beats of the premise are rare and one expects an award-winning fare, nothing less. Bandla Ganesh, who is a seasoned actor and a star producer, is receiving applause for playing an author-backed role. His eyes are expressive and his dialogue-delivery is superb in the trailer.
With music by Lynus Madiri, the film has cinematography by Arun Devineni. The former seems to have given a mood-driven BGM, while the latter has done a fine job with the indoor shoot. Gandhi Nadikudikar has designed the set. SB Uddhav has taken care of editing.
