Restrictions are coming to an end faster than expected in Delhi. They were imposed ahead of the New Year by the Arvind Kejriwal government to fight the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Days after the Bollywood film '83' was released, restrictions came into effect. Cinema halls were closed down.

Today, the government gave relief to theatres as well as bars and restaurants. In its order, the DDMA said that cinema halls, bars and restaurants can operate at 50% capacity.

The film industry has heaved a sigh of relief, thanks to the new norm. It's expected that Bollywood films will line up their releases now. In Mumbai, too, where the daily caseload of coronavirus cases has been coming down, cinema halls are operating at 50% capacity.

Among major cities, Hyderabad is where cinema halls are operating at full capacity. Since Telangana has 100% norm and Andhra Pradesh has 50% norm, Keerthy Suresh's 'Good Luck Sakhi' is getting released in theatres this Friday.
