Delhi Elections: Kejriwal trumps BJP in strategy

The Delhi Assembly elections are going to be held on February 8. The results will be out on February 11. The ruling Aam Admi Party will be in contestation with the BJP and the Congress.

The saffron party has been trying its best to make the elections all about Narendra Modi and national issues such as Article 370 and the CAA-NRC rows. As the ruling party at the Centre, it wants to corner the AAP.

However, Arvind Kejriwal is not giving in. He has made it a point to localize the elections so that the BJP doesn't have an edge. Says @Retributions, "Kejriwal has learned the same lesson leaders like Hemant Soren of Jharkhand have: you can’t defeat Modi but you can make him inconsequential in a state election. By localizing it relentlessly. So yes, he is going to ignore JNU. You will have to live with it."

Early trends suggest that Kejriwal will win a second term. The AAP, as things stand, looks invincible.
