Today marks the 10th anniversary of the release of the Tamil horror film "Demonte Colony." The first two parts of the series received immense appreciation from audiences. Recently, rumors have surfaced indicating that the third installment is currently in development, although the film crew has not officially confirmed it yet.

To commemorate this milestone, director Ajay Gnanamuthu shared a heartfelt statement. He said, "This is the right time to express my joy and gratitude. A decade ago, I began my journey as a director in the Tamil film industry, collaborating with many young technicians. Seeing my first film, ‘Demonte Colony,’ complete 10 years is an emotional moment for me.”

He expressed that making a film in a genre he loved brought him continuous support and affection. Inspired by classic horror films like "The Exorcist," "The Omen," and "The Conjuring," he was motivated to create his own horror world through ‘Demonte Colony.’

Ajay credited producer MK Thamizharasu of Mohana Movies, actor Arulnithi, and Murali Ramasamy of Sri Thenandal Films for their unwavering support in making the film possible. He expressed his deep gratitude for their trust in his vision.

He shared his happiness about how ‘Demonte Colony’ has evolved from just a memory into a supernatural universe. The continued involvement of Arulnithi in the series encourages him greatly. He also thanked journalists, industry friends, and fans for the love shown, which pushes him to deliver better work each time.

Ajay concluded by confirming that he and his team are working on the third installment of the DC series, promising it will deliver a fresh and chilling horror experience for audiences. He added that more updates will be shared soon.
