Recently, Washington acted in the new film titled Highest to Lowest, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee. The film was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. During the event, Denzel Washington was honored with the Golden Palm Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to him by director Spike Lee himself.
