Superstar Mahesh Babu and maverick director SS Rajamouli's much-anticipated film SSMB 29 is currently in the production stage. The shoot of this movie is currently underway in Koraput region of Odisha. The team has been canning a few important scenes in this 20-day-long Odisha schedule.

Meanwhile, Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida thanked Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran for shooting their film in the state. She said that the shooting of big films like Pushpa 2 and SSMB 29 will give a major boost to Odisha Tourism and make it a prime shooting destination in the future.

Taking it to X, Pravati Parida tweeted, "Before, Pushpa-2 in Malkangiri, and now, renowned director SS Rajamouli's upcoming film SSMB29, starring South superstars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra, is being shot in Koraput, proving that Odisha has a wealth of cinematic landscapes for film shooting."

Odisha has been an unexplored state for film shootings till now. But as Pravati said, the state's tourism will get a major boost with the shooting of these big films.

Coming back to SSMB 29, the film features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in other key roles. MM Keeravani is composing the music for it.
