Gautam Karthik was last seen on screen in the action packed entertainer Mr Chandramouli and had been acting in the rural entertainer Devarattam, directed by Muthiah of Maruthu, Komban, Kutty Puli fame.
Now after the announcement of their production Mr Local being shifted from the initially announced May 1 release date to May 27, Studio green have made it official that Devarattam will be releasing worldwide on May 1.
Devarattam is an action packed entertainer that is set in Madurai and Gautam Karthik plays an angry youngster who rises against evil. Achcham yenbathu madamaiyada fame Manjima Mohan plays Gautham Karthik's pair in Devarattam which has music by Nivas K Prasanna.
