Dhadak Movie Review

Recreating a classic love hit like the Marathi film, ‘Sairat’ is something beyond the imagination actually. But looks like the director Shashank Khaitan has almost tugged at our heartstrings with the newbies and it has touched our hearts to some extent.

Though ‘Dhadak’ did not fully charm us like the original one, the star-kids Janhvi and Ishaan have almost brought a little modern touch to it with their acting skills. The film portrays a classic and young lover Madhu (Ishaan) who is deeply in love with the unattainable daughter of a deathly hotelier cum politician, Parthavi (Janhvi). And the consequences that they had to face owing to their caste differences will melt you.

Dhadak Movie Review

While Ishaan’s flawless skill will make one feel that he is the real star of the movie with his perfect comic timings to his innocence during the love Janhvi, daughter of late Sridevi, also surprises us with her skills. Though she has to work more on her skills, but one thing is for sure that these two newbies are going to rock the world. And their onscreen chemistry makes your dhadak beat faster and sometimes it even may skip a heartbeat too.

Apart form Ishaan and Janhvi, Ashutosh Rana, Kharaj Mukherjee, Ankit Bisht, Sridhar Watsar who plays Madhu's sidekick Purshottam with utmost perfection and others have also never failed to amaze us.
