Tearing her way to the top notch with her suave role in Kabali, Dhansika is no more the stereotypical girl-next-door. Aside from being an ardent fan of the movie itself, a new league has bulged in its populace, following Dhansika as their role model. With high expectations pinned on her for the coming days, Dhansika is now gearing up for her next release, Rani.
Produced by Muthu Krishnan for MK Films, Rani is directed by Bani, who was formerly associated with director Samuthirakani. The film has wrapped up shooting with cinematographers Kumaran and Santhosh Kumar, the choreographer Kadhal Kandhas, in Malaysia, under 40 days. The team is back in town, and has headed to Prasad Labs Studios, to begin dubbing; they have started work yesterday, complete with an auspicious pooja for the film's success. Music for the film is composed by the maestro, Isaignani Ilayaraja.
