We already reported that leading actor Dhanush has signed a film with the young director Arun Matheshwaran. The filmmaker recently debuted with the critically acclaimed movie 'Rocky' and his next film 'Saani Kaayidham' is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime soon.
Notably, Dhanush's brother and ace director Selvaraghavan has played the lead role in 'Saani Kaayidham'. Dhanush has finalised this project long back in 2020 way before the release of Arun Matheshwaran's debut directorial released in theatres. Now, we hear red hot updates on the development of Dhanush's upcoming venture.
Sathya Jyothi Films, who produced Dhanush's Thodari, Pattas and Maaran, will be bankrolling Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran's new movie titled Captain Miller. The film will be rolled out on a Pan-Indian scale and set to be a historical action-adventure set in the 1930s, as we reported earlier. On the work front, Dhanush is currently shooting for the Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Vaathi' and Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven'. Also, his 'Thiruchitrambalam' and 'The Gray Man' are slated to release later this year.
