Dhanush as Superstar

In real life, Dhanush is the son-in-law of Superstar Rajinikanth. And in reel, he is playing one (top actor) in his Bollywood venture 'Shamitabh'.
While Dhanush plays the role of a leading star in the film industry in 'Shamitabh', Amitabh Bachchan is his voice artiste, who helps him become a star.
Akshara Haasan, it is learnt, is playing a character who is caught between the two personalities. "Is there water that gets you high without whiskey? Water needs whiskey. But whiskey doesn't need anyone," says Amitabh in the latest trailer of 'Shamitabh'.
