Actor Dhanush was last seen on screen in the mass entertainer Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan, and is currently acting in two movies, the Vetrimaran directorial Asuran produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and the Durai Senthilkumar directorial untitled venture produced by Satyajyothi films.

Asuran was the first to begin shooting, and currently the team is shooting the final schedule, and it has been said that this schedule will end this month, following which Dhanush will move on to his Durai Senthilkumar movie, and Asuran will move into post production phase.

Now the latest speculation making rounds is that the teaser of Asuran might be released on July 28, on eve of Dhanush's birthday. If this news turns official, it will be a huge treat for fans of the actor. Asuran also stars Manju Warrier, Pasupathi and Balaji Sakthivel, besides Dhanush in dual roles, and has music by GV Prakash.
