Dhanush is currently acting in 'Captain Miller' directed by Arun Matheswaran the shooting of which has been going on for the past several months. Produced by Sathya Jyoti Films, Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead while Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Niveditaa Satish, John Kokken and Nasser among others. GV Prakash is composing the music for the film which is set in the backdrop of the 1940s.

Meanwhile the current shooting of 'Captain Miller is going on in the forests of Tenkasi and the Kalakadu Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve on huge sets that were erected. in one of his recent interview GVP stated "After the 'Celebration of Life' background music featured in Ayirathil Oruvan, I have completed 3 or 4 background music tracks for this film that will be the best in my career."
