Actor Dhanush, who had debuted in Bollywood with the movie Raanjhanaa, later acted in another Hindi movie Shamitabh. Now, the actor is re-entering Bollywood with the upcoming movie Atrangi Re.

Directed by Aanand L Rai who directed Raanjhanaa, this movie is a multistarrer also starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, and the movie had started shooting in Varanasi last year. Atrangi Re has music by AR Rahman.

Now, as corona pandemic lockdown has stopped all shootings, it has been revealed that Atrangi Re will be the first Dhanush movie to resume shooting as the second schedule will begin shooting in Madurai in October 2020 with Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, and then Akshay Kumar will join shooting in Delhi and Mumbai.
