Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’ Postponed by 6 Months – Avoids Clash with Ajith’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’

Initially set to clash with Ajith’s much-anticipated film ‘Good Bad Ugly’ on April 10th, Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’ has now officially been postponed.

Though the makers had earlier confirmed an April 10 release, the film’s producer recently revealed that ‘Idli Kadai’ is still in production and won’t be ready in time. As a result, they’re opting for a more suitable release window.

Putting an end to the speculation, Dhanush took to social media to officially announce that ‘Idli Kadai’ will now hit theatres worldwide on October 1st — nearly a six-month delay from its original plan.

While this change has left some fans disappointed, many are optimistic, saying they’re willing to wait for quality cinema. Interestingly, Dhanush’s ‘Kubera’ will now be released before ‘Idli Kadai’, with its theatrical release scheduled for June 20th.

The shuffle in release dates ensures ‘Idli Kadai’ avoids direct competition with Ajith’s film, giving both projects breathing room to shine at the box office.
