While Dhanush's upcoming film Maaran is gearinTwitter India has surprised the movie team and the Karnan actor's fans with a new emoji for this film. The production house shared the happy news with fans.

"Sweet Surprise. @dhanushkraja's MAARAN Twitter emoji's unlocked. @TwitterIndia" Sathya Jyothi films wrote, on his official Twitter account. Talking about Twitter emojis Thalapthy Vijay's Mersal was the first Tamil movie to get this feature. Followed by this, Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' and 'Darbar', Suriya's 'NGK' and 'Soorarai Pottru' and Vijay's 'Master' and 'Bigil' got their own Twitter emoji.

The film features Dhanush in the lead role playing the role of a journalist along with Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. The movie’s motion poster was released last month and the movie makers on February 14 released the poster of Malavika Mohanan’s look for the movie.

The movie trailer will be released on February 28, 2022. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. ‘Maaran’ will be the fourth film of Dhanush that will be released on OTT.
