Dhanush Makes Way for Simbu

The long Ramzan weekend on the 17th of July had Simbu's Vaalu' and Dhanush's Maari' locking horns at the box office which was highly anticipated by fans of both the stars. But now we have got news that Maari' has been pushed by a week and will hit the screens on the 24th of July.
Though disappointing for rival fans this is a boon for Simbu as he is going to have a solo release, thereby raising the prospects for the long in the making Vaalu'. The film directed by Vijay Chander has Hansika as the heroine with Santhanam, Brahmanandam and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles. Music is by Thaman and the film is presented by Chimbu Cine Arts.
