Dhanush, who is relishing the success of his recent OTT release 'Atrangi Re/Galatta Kalyanam', will be next seen in the action-thriller 'Maaran'. The phenomenal actor is set to romance Malavika Mohanan in the film written and directed by Karthik Naren. Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, the upcoming flick is set to directly open on Diseny+Hotstar in mid-February.

The makers have wrapped up the complete works of Maaran and the project is ready for release. The team has kickstarted the promotional works today by releasing the first single video from the movie. GV Prakash Kumar is composing music. Now, the stylish opening song 'Polladha Ulagam' rendered by Dhanush and Rapper Arivu has landed on the internet.

Lyricist Vivek has penned uber-cool lines that perfectly fits the posh tone of the investigative thriller. Choreographed by Jani, Dhanush dance moves are trending and catchy in the 4-minute dance number. Samuthirakani is headlining the antagonist role in Maaran. Dhanush and Malavika will be seen as journalists in the film. It also stars Krishnakumar, Mahendran, Smruthi Venkat and Bose Venkat.
