Dhanush's upcoming investigative thriller 'Maaran' is one of the most-awaited films in the Tamil industry as the phenomenal actor joins hands with the talented youngster Karthick Naren for the first time. Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, the action thriller is ready for release.

Indiaglitz has already informed you that the makers are planning to release the film on the digital platform Diseny+Hotstar. Now, the production house confirmed the OTT release on the Twitter page. The team presented a brand new poster with an important update. Sathya Jyothi Films announced that the Maaran motion poster will be launched tomorrow (January 14) as a Pongal treat to the actor's fans.

GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the songs and the background score for Maaran. Previously, the composer shared a super update regarding the film's opening song which is set to be released as the first single soon. Lyricist Vivek has crafted the lines for the dance number while Dhanush has rendered his voice along with the popular rapper Therukural Arivu.

Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead opposite Dhanush. The leads will be seen in the role of journalists. The film also stars Krishnakumar, Mahendran, Smruthi Venkat, Samuthirakani and Bose Venkat. Maaran is most likely to start premiering from mid of February.
