One of the most celebrated songs of Tamil cinema in recent years is Rowdy baby from Dhanush, Sai pallavi starrer Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan and the song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja sjf and sung by Dhanush and Dhee has achieved a huge milestone.

Choreographed by Prabhudeva, Rowdy Baby has hit 1 billion views on YouTube, becoming the first south indian song to achieve it and coincidentally it is also the 9th anniversary of Dhanush's viral hit Kolaveri di composed by Anirudh.

On achieving the milestone on the special day, Dhanush tweeted "What a sweet coincidence this is ❤️❤️ Rowdy baby hits 1 billion views on same day of the 9th anniversary of Kolaveri di. We are honoured that this is the first South Indian song to reach 1 billion views. Our whole team thanks you from the heart ❤️❤️".
