Actor Dhanush was last seen in Maari 2, and is currently acting in two movies, Vetrimaran directed Asuran, and Durai Senthil Kumar's Pattas. While Asuran is based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani, Pattas is a double action mass entertainer that will have Dhanush as a martial arts expert.

Besides these movies, Dhanush also has films lined up, to be directed by Ratsasan and Mundasupatti director Ramkumar, Pariyerum Perumal director Mari Selvaraj, Vada Chennai 2 with Vetrimaran, a Bollywood movie directed by Aanand L Rai, and a movie with his brother Selvaraghavan.

Now the latest speculation making rounds is that Dhanush might next take up the remake of the recently released Bollywood hit movie Article 15, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Though an official clarification is yet to come, it is to be seen if Dhanush acts or only produces this remake.
