Dhanush’s character in Pattas revealed!

Actor Dhanush who had last played a fun loving gangster in Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan is getting ready with his next two movies, Asuran directed by Vetrimaran, and his 39th movie directed by Durai Senthilkumar, which was revealed yesterday to be titled as Pattas.

The first look of Pattas was released on eve of Dhanush’s birthday, and as said earlier, Dhanush will be seen playing dual roles as father and son, and Sneha will be paired with the father and Mehreen Pirzada will be paired with the son character. In a recent interview, director Durai Senthilkumar has revealed more details on the movie.

Reportedly, Pattas will revolve around an  ancient martial art form which was there even before Kalari came, and was practised in the times of Chola Kings, and Dhanush plays an expert in this art. Both Dhanush and Sneha had trained for their roles, and the director also revealed that Pattas is the name with which younger Dhanush is called.
