Actor Dhanush was last seen in the mass entertainer Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan and has just finished shooting for his next release Asuran. Directed by Vetrimaran, the movie produced by Kalaipuli S Thaanu and co-starring Manju Warrier is being planned to be released in October.

In a recent interview, Dhanush who had turned a director in 2017 with Paa Paandi, was questioned on what will be his next directorial venture, and the actor had replied that he won't be directing for the next one and half years, but he also went on to reveal a sequel plan.

Dhanush said that he has ideas to make the sequel to Paa Paandi, though he is not sure if it is possible. Starring Rajkiran and Revathi, Paa paandi was one of the hit movies of the year, and now with the actor himself hinting of a sequel, one can expect an interesting movie soon. Dhanush is now acting in Durai Senthilkumar movie playing dual roles.
