Rajkumar Periasamy Reveals Details of Dhanush’s Upcoming 55th Film

Director Rajkumar Periasamy recently shared insights about Dhanush’s 55th film at the ‘Media and Entertainment Business Conference’ organized by the Indian Trade and Industry Association in Chennai last weekend. Many film industry personalities attended this event to share valuable insights.

Rajkumar Periasamy, who directed ‘Amaran’ last year during the Diwali festival, spoke about his experience working with Dhanush. He mentioned, “For this film, I was searching for an actor like Dhanush. The story of this film offers certain aspects that complement his acting skills.”

He further clarified that the script was not written solely for Dhanush, but he always provides creative freedom in choosing scripts. Initially, when they met, Rajkumar did not have a specific story idea in mind. However, Dhanush made him feel comfortable enough to suggest stories that suited him.

Rajkumar also highlighted that Dhanush never limits himself with specific expectations about roles or appearances. During their second meeting, Rajkumar presented two story ideas, both of which Dhanush liked. The team is currently focusing on one of these ideas, which is based on a true incident.

This project is shaping up to be an exciting collaboration between the director and the star.
