Dhanush gets yet another Rajinikanth film title

At last the long wait to know the title of Dhanush's second film with Velraj is over. The film so far being referred to as 'VIP 2' has been titled as 'Thangamagan'.

Interestingly the title has resumed the trend of having Superstar Rajinikanth's yesteryear films titles for his son-in-laws films. The list includes. Polladhavan', Padikkadhavan' and Mappillai' and the latest addition is Thangamagan' which is the title of the 1983 film starring Rajinikanth and Poornima Bhagyaraj.

The new Thangamagan' has Samantha and Amy Jackson as female leads pairing up with Dhanush while K.S. Ravikumar and Radhika act as Dhanush's parent's in the film. Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for this film produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner.

This is the second film of team of cinematographer turned director Velraj, Dhanush and Anirudh and that's why this was being called as VIP 2'.
