Dhanush - Shruti Haasan's '3' - First Look

Everyone is not getting everything they desire in life. But a man (Dhanush) achieves all possible things. However, he still has a vacuum to be filled. What is it forms the crux of 3, says Aishwarya, who is wielding the megaphone for this biggie.
On Thursday, stills from '3' were released for the first time, through advertisements in leading newspapers. They featured the lead pair Dhanush and Shruthi Haasan sharing close moments with each other in different backgrounds.
Aishwarya adds: 3 was initially scripted by me as a short film. After understanding that it would commercially click as a full-length feature film, we (she and Dhanush) decided to make it as a movie. That's how it happened.
Claiming that her father Superstar Rajinikanth is fully aware of the story of '3', Aishwarya says, In fact it was he who encouraged me to direct the film. I have started the shooting with the blessings of my parents and my in-laws.
