Actor Dhanush and director Vetrimaaran have been one of the most successful combinations of Tamil film industry and since his debut with Polladhavan in 2007, Vetrimaaran has directed Aadukalam, Vada Chennai and Asuran with Dhanush.

While Asuran became the combo's biggest success, they were expected to join hands for Vada Chennai 2, but the latest reports making the rounds is that Dhanush and Vetrimaaran might join hands again for a movie produced by Elred Kumar.

It has been said that this movie will be Dhanush's immediate next movie, and an official clarification on this speculations is expected soon. On the other hand, Elred Kumar will also produce a movie starring Soori and directed by Vetrimaaran and Vetrimaaran has another movie Vaadivasal starring Suriya.
