Dhanush's 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' has been censored with a clean U certificate and the official announcement on the theatrical release date is much awaited.
Now Dhanush who has written the story and dialogues for the 'VIP' sequel apart from playing the lead role has confirmed that the release date of 'VIP 2' will be announced at 7 PM IST tomorrow (August 1) with a teaser 'Raghuvaran coming' teaser. Raghuvaran is the name of the character played by Dhanush in 'VIP' and its sequel.
'VIP 2' has been directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu under his V Creations banner. The film will mark the Kollywood comeback of 'Minsara Kanavu' heroine Kajol after 20 years.
