'Beast' is the upcoming action thriller starring Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the leading roles. Financed by Sun Pictures, this 65th movie of Vijay will be directed by super talented Nelson Dilipkumar. Anirudh is composing the album of the film.

Beast is touted to be shot in posh locales of Georgia and Chennai. This project comprises an ensemble star cast including Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Lilliput Faruqui, Aparna Das and Ankur Ajit Vikal. Reportedly, Beast will have three gutsy antagonists challenging Thalapathy Vijay on screen.

The makers revealed that ace director Selvaraghavan and Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko will sport two of the negative roles. The actor playing the third villain in Beast is still kept as a secret. Sources say that there is a big surprise awaiting the fans in the villain role update.

The latest buzz is that the National Award-winning star Dhanush to be a part of this biggie. Some inside sources say that Dhanush will pen the lyrics of a song and will render his voice for the same in the Beast soundtrack. The fact that the dynamic duo DnA is reuniting after 6 years in Dhanush's upcoming project 'Thiruchitrambalam' adds more fuel to the buzz about Dhanush's involvement in Beast.

However, we have to wait for an official word from the makers regarding this. The first two schedules of Thalapathy's Beast took place in Georgia and Chennai respectively. The third schedule is now happening in Chennai. Tom Chacko joined the sets of Beast last Wednesday. Pooja Hegde is also taking part in this schedule.
