Dhanush seems to be on a roll with his current projects – ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ with director Gautham Menon and ‘Vada Chennai’ with director Vettrimaaran. While we might think 24 hours wouldn’t be enough for the busy actor, Dhanush has already embarked for his next project.

Yes, his most anticipated sequel ‘Maari 2’ is going on floors today with a ceremonial pooja. Dhanush took to his social page to disclose the happy news to his fans. The film directed by Balaji Mohan features an ensemble cast that includes Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas and Robo Shankar as well. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for ‘Maari 2’. It is also worth mentioning here that Ilayaraja has rendered his voice to a song for the film already. ‘Maari 2’ is being bankrolled by Dhanush’s home banner Wunderbar Films.
