Dhanush's '3' to release on Pongal?

Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Dhanush's upcoming film '3' will see a Pongal release along with Shankar's 'Nanban', a multi-starrer featuring Vijay. '3' marks Aishwarya Dhanush's debut directorial project and has Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead.
The film is a romantic drama with a different take on romance and emotions. Ace photographer, Sunder Ramu, who is debuting as an actor through Dhanush's 'Mayakkam Enna' where he plays the second lead will be seen in a pivotal role in this film as well.
The first look of '3' set in quite a rage as the chemistry between the lead pairs was seen in the very posters which were impressive.
