Dhanush to don the director's hat again ? - details here

We had earlier reported that producers of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal', Sri Thenandal Films will be collaborating with Dhanush for their next film. The buzz is that Dhanush will not only be acting in this movie but also directing as well.
If this holds true, then this will be the actor's full fledged role in his own direction after his first directorial venture in which he made only a guest appearance. Moreover, it's being said that this will be a period film as well.
As of now, the actor is currently working with director Vetrimaaran for 'Vada Chennai' and with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta'. He also has Balaji Mohan's 'Maari 2' in his kitty.
It is expected that Dhanush will set out for work for his second directorial after completing the said projects.
