Actor Harish Kalyan had last played lead role in the comedy Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae released last year, and next the actor has completed the movie Dharala Prabhu directed by debutant Krishna Marimuthu and produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Dharala Prabhu is the official Tamil remake of the Hindi hit Vicky Donor which had Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam playing leads and the Tamil version has Tanya Hope as the female lead. Actor Vivek plays an important role as a doctor in Dharala Prabhu.

It has been made official that Dharala Prabhu will release worldwide on March 13. Dharala Prabhu has 8 music directors teaming up for different songs, and the composers are Anirudh, Vivek-Mervin, Oorka , Inno Genga, Sean Roldan, Bharath Shankar, Kaber Vasuki and Madley Blues.
