The 2023 Bollywood action thriller Kill, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt and produced by Karan Johar, created a buzz for its intense fight sequences and gripping storytelling. Though the film had a relatively short runtime, it was hailed as one of the best action films to come out of India in recent years. The original starred Lakshya Lalwani in the lead, with Raghav Juyal, Tanya Maniktala, and Ashish Vidyarthi playing pivotal roles.

Now, the film is all set to get a South Indian remake. Producer Ramesh Varma has acquired the rights to remake Kill in multiple South Indian languages. Initially, there were discussions with actor Raghava Lawrence to headline the remake, but the project didn’t move forward with him.

Latest reports suggest that actor Dhruv Vikram is now being considered for the lead role in the Tamil version. If confirmed, this film could mark a significant shift in Dhruv’s career, presenting him as a full-fledged action hero in a unique and intense avatar.

Dhruv, who is currently working on Bison with director Mari Selvaraj, may soon take on this high-octane role, which could add a fresh dimension to his evolving filmography. The remake is expected to go on floors soon, generating excitement among fans eager to see him in an action-packed avatar.
