Dhruv Vikram and director Mari Selvaraj came together for an epic sports drama, bankrolled by Neelam Studios and Applause Entertainment. This project was officially announced by the makers in March. Anupama Parameshwaran is playing the leading lady of this upcoming movie.

The film's title was revealed to be 'Bison' with a first look today. The poster shows Dhruv posing in a stance similar to a Bison's. He is said to play a Kabaddi player in this film as it is a biopic sports drama. The star cast comprises Dhruv, Anupama, Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Kalaiyarasan, Azhagam Perumal, Harikrishnan, and others.

The shooting for 'Bison' kickstarted today with a pooja ceremony. Chiyaan Vikram inaugurated the film by clapping the board for the first shot. The photos from the movie's launch are rocking the internet now. Nivas K Prasanna scores music for this much-awaited flick with cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K and editing by Sakthi Thiru.
