Arulnithi is an actor who never takes the fans for granted and delivers promising films. He will be next seen in director Innasi Pandiyan's supernatural thriller 'Diary'. Produced by Kathiresan's Five Star Creations, it stars Pavithra Marimuthu as the female lead.

Arulnithi is playing a cop in the investigation thriller and Pavithra will be seen as a doctor from Singapore. The story is based on a few true incidents about the frequent accidents on the Ooty-Coimbatore road. Arulnithi is set out to unravel the mystery surrounding the accidents.

Ron Ethan Yohann has composed the musical score with cinematography by Aravinnd Singh and editing by SP Raja Sethupathi. 'Diary' also stars Aadukalam Kishore, Jayaprakash, Sha Ra, Thanigai, and Dhanam in prominent roles. The film is shot in Chennai, Coimbatore, Coonoor and Ooty.
