Diganth in Utsav, not the Hindi Utsav remake

As we all know Utsav' in Hindi is an evergreen cinema of Hindi actress Rekha in which Kannada actor Shanker Nag also performed. The Hindi film was directed by Gnanapith award winner from Karnataka Dr Girish Karnad and the 1984 film was produced by ace actor from RK family Shashi Kapoor.
Now this Kannada Utsav' is by GN Rudresh as director. He has directed Hai' Kannada film in the past. This is a remake of Malayalam film Charlie'. This is the second Mammooty son Dulqar Salman film coming to Kannada as a remake. Gowdru Hotel the recent one is remake of Ustaad Hotel.
Latha Hegde is female lead. She is a model from Newzealand with roots from Karnataka Honnavara taluk. Harsha Private Limited is producing this film. Apparently this is one of the 10 films the producers Sanjeev siblings announced in Kannada.
Ashe Mendonca is music composer, Selvam is man behind camera.
