Dil Raju ropes in Jabardasth comedian as director

Comedian Venu Tillu, who turned producer with comedian Srinivas Reddy's Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu, is adding another feather to the cap. Word is that Venu is all set to make his debut as a director with a film being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Sources say Venu is currently developing the script and the film will go on floors soon.
Dil Raju is pleased with Venu's idea and has agreed to produce this film, besides taking the responsibility to introduce him as the director. The script work is underway at a brisk pace and the film will start rolling later this year, says a source close to the development.
The lead actors and the supporting cast of the film are yet to be finalised. Venu, who begun his career as an associate to Chitram Srinu, has forayed into the showbiz as a comedian and went on to feature in several hit films. He also appeared in the popular television comedy show, Jabardasth. Venu was last seen in Raj Tarun-starrer Power Play.
Besides introducing Venu Tillu as the director, Dil Raju is also committed to launching choreographer Yashwanth aka Yash as the lead actor with a romantic entertainer soon.
