AMMA takes strong action against Dileep

One of Malayalam cinema's most sought after leading men, Dileep has been arrested and remanded to 14 days police custody for his alleged involvement in the actress Bhavana abduction case. The Malayalam actor's association AMMA had strongly supported him till a few days back.

However with the turn of events with the police showing strong evidence against Dileep the AMMA has taken a U-turn and an urgent meeting was convened at Mammootty's house in Kochi. An unanimous decision was taken and Dileep has been removed from Treasurer post and the primary membership of the organisation.
