Karthi is a versatile actor who made his debut with director Ameer's 2007 film, 'Paruthiveeran'. Now, Karthi has completed 25 films with 'Japan'. All directors who worked with Karthi were present at the Japan audio launch last month except Ameer. When asked about it in an interview, Ameer revealed that he wasn't invited to the event.

The actor-director further stated that he isn't on good terms with Karthi and his brother Suriya. Then, he added that he and the Suriya family had a good relationship until producer KE Gnanavel Raja came between them. His interview clip went viral on the internet. Following this, Gnanavel Raja in a media interview said that they invited Ameer but he refused to come.

Paruthiveeran was produced and released under KE Gnanavel Raja's banner Studio Green. The producer in his interview went on to accuse Ameer of spending more money on the film than the quoted budget and added that he showed fake expenses to fraud money from him. However, actor-director Sasikumar came in support of Ameer and clarified that he gave money to Ameer for the final shooting of Paruthiveeran and Gnanavel Raja's allegations are false.

While it is true that Gnanavel Raja cleared Ameer's debts as his salary for directing Paruthiveeran, it is reported that Ameer spent money from his own pocket when the budget of the film exceeded his calculations. The director had also filed a case against Gnanavel Raja, Suriya and Karthi regarding this film. Now, Ameer has released a statement in response to Gnanavel Raja's recent accusations. Due to the fact that the case related to “Paruthiveeran” is still pending in court, I am still not responding as per the instructions of the lawyer. Because of that, I don't even meet media friends.

There is no other reason for this. However, due to the fact that this issue is continuously going on social websites including "YOUTUBE", I would like to give some explanations.

There is no truth in even one of the comments made by Gnanavelraja regarding “Paruthiveeran” and my film journey. All are fabricated lies. This is a planned false propaganda with the intention of diminishing my dignity in society and with the intention of restricting my journey in the film industry.

No contract was signed between me and Gnanavelraja regarding the movie “Paruthiveeran”. Therefore, I have not breached a non-existing contract. He was the one who stopped the film halfway and disappeared without giving the amount for the shooting of the subsequent periods except the amount he gave for the first phase of the film.

After that, I continued to shoot the film through my company “TEAMWORK PRODUCTION HOUSE”. Also, I am amazed that my brothers, who are at the top of the film industry today, and all the technicians who have worked, who are completely aware of the entire shooting environment of "Paruthiveeran", are quiet about this issue.

In what environment was the movie “Parthiveeran” launched? What was the reason for starting it? The great people who knew the truth about this, gave me a vote and said 'release the film yourself'. They are simply watching all things that day and today too!

It is noteworthy that the people who were involved in the final panchayat of the movie "Paruthiveeran", those who settled it and those who signed the witness are still silent.
