Director Gokulakrishna passes away

Prominent film director Gokulakrishna who has rendered successful movies such as 'Aanantha Kummi', 'Archanai Pookal', 'Poovarasan', 'Muthukkalai' and 'Udhavikku Varalama' passed away on the 28th of October.

Besides directing films, Gokulkakrishna was also well versed in the art of scriptwriting. Two films he had written for 'Engal Anna' that featured Vijaykanth and 'Oru Naal Oru Kanavu' (dialogues) went on to become very successful among the masses.
